Are Belgian Boys products gluten-free, dairy-free, or vegan?
We're all about that authentic European flavor and texture, which means most of our treats are made with wheat and dairy. The exception is our Original Belgian Waffle, which is dairy-free! Fingers crossed for more DF, GF, and vegan options down the road. We're always cooking up new breakfast innovations, so never say never.
Do Belgian Boys products contain GMOs?
Our goal is always deliciousness and quality. We use non-GMO ingredients wherever we can, keeping it real with every bite. Some items just can't carry the official label yet due to technical requirements, even when the ingredients themselves are non-GMO.
Are Belgian Boys products Kosher?
Yep! All of our breakfast goodies are certified Kosher by Triangle K.
Are Belgian Boys products nut-free?
Good news: our Original Dairy Crêpes, Bite-Sized Pancakes, and Original Belgian Waffle are made without any nuts. The rest of our lineup may not list nuts as an ingredient, but they could be made in a facility that also processes nuts, so always double-check the label!
What does “may contain” or “made in a facility” with allergens mean?
It's our way of being extra cautious. Even if we don't use an allergen as an ingredient, some of our snacks are made in facilities that also handle them, so trace amounts could sneak in. If you or a loved one has a serious allergy, it's best to steer clear.
Why did the Belgian Boys crêpe recipe change?
We added dairy (skim milk powder and real milk) to make our Crêpes taste and feel even better: less tearing when you roll or fold them, and a softer, more authentic European mouthfeel.
Can I freeze Belgian Boys products?
We don't recommend it! Our Pancakes, Crêpes, and Waffles are all happiest straight from the fridge. For the fluffiest bite, enjoy them before the Best By Date and you'll be golden.
How long do Belgian Boys products last?
Check the Best By Date printed right on the package. That's your best guide to exactly how long your product will stay fresh and delicious.
How should I store Belgian Boys products if they weren't refrigerated at the store?
Check your product's label first! Our Original Belgian Waffle is shelf-stable, so it's fine outside the fridge. Our Pancakes and Crêpes are refrigerated items though, so pop those in the fridge as soon as you get home.
Can I eat Belgian Boys products without heating them?
Sure can! Everything we make is fully cooked, so it's ready to eat straight from the package. That said, we recommend a quick warm-up in the microwave, toaster oven, or air fryer for the best taste and texture. Microwaves vary, so keep an eye on it the first time around.
Can Belgian Boys packaging be recycled?
Great question! Our cartons are made of paperboard, so they can be recycled right alongside your other cardboard. Just empty them out and place them in your recycling bin (a quick check of your local rules will confirm what's accepted in your area).
