There’s no better way to start your weekend than with a warm, decadent brunch that satisfies all your sweet and savory cravings— except maybe hitting snooze one more time. At Belgian Boys, we believe that you shouldn’t have to sacrifice your rare mornings of rest to start the day off right. We’ve put together a list of our favorite breakfasts that are so quick and easy, you can enjoy a luxurious weekend brunch any day of the week.

French Toast You Toast

Oh là là! These mouthwatering and time-saving Brioche French toast recipes will have your whole family saying, “Merci beaucoup!”

Monte Cristo

Monte Cristo French Toast Sandwich

This classic diner sandwich gets brunch-ified with two slices of our thick and fluffy Brioche French Toast. We’ve done all the messy work of soaking Brioche in egg, milk, and a touch of sugar and baking until golden, so all you have to do is pop a slice in the toaster or flying pan.

For this recipe, spread mustard and mayonnaise on two slices of Brioche French Toast. Layer thin slices of ham and gruyere cheese on one slice and top with the other. Grease a pan with butter and fry on both sides until the toast is golden-brown and the cheese is melted. Remove from heat, frying up an egg until the yolk is just set. Open up the sandwich and slide the egg inside. Voilà! An ooey, gooey Monte Cristo French toast that will make any morning a good one.

Sweet x Savory

Belgian Boys French Toast paired with eggs and bacon

Ah, the eternal question: savory or sweet? We may never know the answer, but while the philosophers work it out, we’ll be enjoying this savory and sweet breakfast feast.

Pop two slices of the Belgian Boys’ Brioche French Toast in the toaster. Meanwhile, fry up some bacon over medium heat in a non-stick skillet for about ten minutes, or until they’ve reached your desired crispiness. Drain the grease and let your bacon strips rest on a paper towel lined plate. Using the same skillet, fry up an egg until the whites are set but the yolk is still runny. Serve your French toast, bacon, and sunny-side-up egg together on one plate with a side of syrup and butter. We don’t know about you, but we’re drooling just thinking about it!

PB&J French Toast

Your favorite childhood lunch gets an upgrade when served on a slice of thick Brioche for a nostalgic and original breakfast treat.

This recipe is as quick and easy as it is craving-worthy. Just pop one slice of the Belgian Boys’ Brioche French toast in the toaster until heated. Top with a generous spread of peanut butter (both crunchy and smooth work great!) and a dollop of fruit jelly. We like a classic strawberry jelly, but raspberry jam or a sweet and citrusy marmalade make wonderful alternatives. Serve open-faced with a side of fresh fruit.

No Prep Crepes, Just Add Toppings

These no-cook, no-mess recipes take no time at all to whip up! Just roll out of bed and enjoy.

Strawberry & Nutella

Belgian Boys Crepes topped with nutella and strawberries

This sweet recipe is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser, ideal for a weekend brunch with friends. You’ll only need three ingredients to dress up these crepes and about five minutes to throw them together!

Warm up your Belgian Boys crepes on the stovetop or microwave, then spread a generous layer of Nutella on top. Slice ripe strawberries and bananas into quarter-inch thick slices and place on one half of your crepes, folding the other side over top. Fold your crepes over again into quarters. For a dash of added decadence, serve with a dusting of powdered sugar.

Fresh Avocado Crepes

Belgian Boys Crepes topped with avocado and green onion

Crepes, or razor-thin French pancakes, are traditionally made with a special pan and spatula that allow chefs to achieve a delicate, evenly cooked consistency. These treats can be tricky to perfect when making at home, which is why the Belgian Boys created their authentic, ready-made Original Crepes that can be heated and served in one minute.

For this savory crepe recipe, heat up a Belgian Boys crepe on the stovetop or in the microwave. Top one half of your crepe with a handful of fresh and spicy arugula. Slice up an avocado, fanning the pieces out over the arugula. Fold the other half over the avocado slices, then top with a sprinkle of chopped chives.

One Minute Poffertjes

Kids and adults alike will adore these cute mini pancakes from the Netherlands— and you’ll love serving them up in less than 60 seconds!

Berries & Powdered Sugar

Maybe the quickest and easiest recipe on our list, these Berries & Powdered Sugar Poffertjes are a great finger food for serving family-style at your brunch table. To prepare, just warm up the Belgian Boys’ Bite-Sized Pancake Bundle in the microwave for one minute. Arrange on a serving plate with fresh berries (we chose strawberries and blueberries, but you can use whatever looks ripe and delicious) and a dusting of powdered sugar. These pancakes may be small, but they pack a flavorful punch!

Mini Pancake Skewers

These Mini Pancake Skewers are perfect for summer picnics and cookouts. Heat up a bundle of Belgian Boys poffertjes in the microwave or stovetop. Meanwhile, slice up one banana and rinse a handful of fresh raspberries. Top each pancake with a thick layer of peanut butter. To assemble your skewers, layer on one mini pancake, one banana slice, and one raspberry. Repeat until your dessert kabobs are complete.
